Heimat

We are now at my sisters in Arkel, Netherlands. It's lovely to be back and I'm looking forward to spending time together over the weekend.

We ended our time in Germany by retracing our steps with a visit to Simmern to see the Edgar Reitz Filmhaus which had artefacts from Heimat.  We then had lunch at the Gûnderodehaus which was where we started our Heimat exploration  on Monday.  The weather was glorious as was  the view. A lovely end to our time in Germany.
