A night at the opera ...

.... except it was an afternoon at the ballet.

My sister treated us to a performance of Ballet for Life by the Bejart Ballet from Lausanne at the Carre Theatre in Amsterdam.

The dance was set to the music of Queen & (some) Mozart with up to 30 dancers on stage at some points (although only one or two actually on points).

There was a mixture of serious bits and fun bits that sometimes felt out of kilter (in a good way), not quite knowing what to expect next. The theatre was lovely. 

The weather in Amsterdam was also lovely and we enjoyed a stroll before & afterwards.

A most enjoyable afternoon with thanks to J (sis) or treating us a J (b-in-l)for driving us.

Now sipping (more) fizz.
