That view (Day 3616)

There was work I could have gone to do today, but I decided instead to have a day "off" while my beautiful wife was away to the north isles to do some trimming.
After taking Sigyn out first thing, I cleared my van out and zoomed to town to collect a load of pellets. Once they were unloaded at home, I piled a load of stuff into the truck and headed off to the dump.
After lunch Sigyn and I had a wander at Lyde in the sunshine, though a chilly breeze reminded me I really should have taken a jacket.
I had a stop at home, then headed to Stromness where I saddled up a very surprised George and got out for a ride along the shore. It was fabulous to be back in the saddle after so many months off. George was his usual fine, predictable self and I reckon he enjoyed himself as much as I did.
