Periwinkle
When we moved here 43 years ago there was a small clump of variegated vinca at the bottom of the garden. This is it, still there but, because we didn't keep cutting off the plain green shoots, there is very little variegation left. Full green takes over.
The reason I've chosen to blip it today is I've been working in that part of the garden today. The part I now call my woodland garden, a dark area, no wonder it needs its leaves to be fully green!
Last year we did nothing but grass-cutting in the garden and it is looking uncared for. I know it's good to be outside and I know working with plants is good for well-being so, let's hope this is the first of many nice days outside getting things tidied up!
