Waiting Room

I'm not having to wait for a train: there's one already there on the wall!

It's a long time since I had to set a 6am alarm but we had to be up to Carlisle for 8.30am. The Man is to have an operation to his hand for Dupuytren's contracture and will need me to drive him home.

I didn't have long to wait, The Man was out with his arm bandaged and in a sling, within 30 minutes. By the end of the week he will have to go to our practice nurses for a fresh, light bandage. Until then he will have to be careful and not try to use his hand.

This is a very new NHS building on an industrial site in the city, easy to get to and ample free parking today. It being Saturday, not all departments were open.

This afternoon I did a little bit of work in the garden to start to tidy the patio.
