Egg

Surprisingly I had a good night’s sleep, which has done me some good. I was still feeling a bit under the weather, but much better than last night. We had a slow start to the day, before heading down for breakfast.

We had no plan, so headed out on another wander. I wanted to go to Liberty, one of my favourite shops in London, full of beautiful things that I don’t need and can’t afford! I stopped off at Muji which was on the way, where a small purchase was made.

I just wandered round Liberty, admiring lots of things, including the building itself. I was definitely tempted by a few things, but resisted and left empty handed. We then wandered through Soho, over to Covent Garden, and continued our exploration.

We then made our way back towards our hotel, and sat in Russell Square for a wee while, people watching while we enjoyed the sunshine. I wished that I had my book with me, but I had left it at the hotel. We then picked up our bags and made our way to Kings Cross. We picked up some food for the journey, then found our seats. The train was packed. It left on time, and unlike our journey on Saturday, we had a very peaceful journey and we both got stuck into our books.

Once in Edinburgh, we ran to the bus stop and only had to wait a couple of minutes for a bus home. We got home to find that BB had got home earlier in the evening. He was looking hog food, and we were hungry, so we ordered pizzas. BB is on holiday, and home for a wee while, he doesn’t know how long for!

We enjoyed the pizzas. TT and I had to get organised for tomorrow.

There was a trail of eggs around Covent Garden. This one was at Covent Garden, by a lovely display of flowers.
