Spring Flowers

I took myself over to West Green House Gardens for the afternoon.

The gardens are renown for their tulip displays, but it is still a bit early for the best. There were some nice examples dotted around however (extra).

Early spring flowers were still to be seen, and I particularly liked this sight of some primroses and grape hyacinths on the banks of the lake. If you look large you can see another visitor heading in to enjoy a feast, as did I with some coffee and delicious (but naughty) cake!

With thanks as ever to BikerBear for continuing to inspire us to go out looking for flowers for the Flower Friday Challenge.
