2000 pieces!

It’s pretty silly buying a 2000 piece jigsaw even if it was a bargain! It is a scene ipon a canal in Venice, always a nice subject.

I’m posting it for Silly Saturday as I’m sure you must be fed up of flowers. It’s silly as I’ve had to put it on the dining table as my jigsaw mat isn’t  big enough, silly also because I have to be careful with my back working at the table. So a bit at a time but as usual I am soon hooked.
I’ve finally done some gardening this morning in the beds at the top of the garden. The Witch Hazel bed has lots of moss in it so I’ve been trying to get it out without disturbing the primulas and  cowslips currently in flower. So that’s my back aching for a start!
I took this first thing and have completed more of the cafe tablecloths, bottom left, since coming in for coffee.

I’ve started prepping for a casserole I’m going to make tomorrow to take with us to Bath on Monday.
Now sitting in the sun having a cuppa. Lovely and warm in the conservatory, still that cool wind outside, hopefully they won’t have it in Bath.

From here I can see the lovely Amaryllis which now has two buds open (there are 5). They are all coming together whereas the previous  one had big blousy flowers one at a time, I’ve just taken the last one off. Such great value.
The Orchids have new flowers out and even the one I got for Christmas - yellow, which is still flowering, has new buds opening. Extra
Outside the Avalon Narcissus are opening too. They do tend to hang their heads so a bit tricky to get a picture that shows off their white banded petals.
Might try to get a blip if them later.
