Avalon

These lovely narcissus, ‘Avalon’ are now in bloom. I took this photo first thing before they were in full sun so that the petals would show their white colouring near the tips. 
Yesterday I took one backlit by the sun which I liked but you couldn’t distinguish the white (extra). They do tend to hang their heads a little so not the easiest to photograph.

It’s a shame we will miss the best of them over the coming week, likewise my lovely bouquet from last Sunday but I’m really looking forward to see everyone, especially the girls. 
We haven’t been to Bath since Christmas though Grace and the girls were here at Feb half term. 
Another sunny day but I’m hoping we will drive away from the cold wind when we travel SW to Bath tomorrow.
