GladOfASwim

Today began with something of a Turf adventure for me and Hodge. He had one zone left in his quest to take all the Midlothian zones in a single 5-week round. However it's a "water zone", about 300m from the shore of Gladhouse Reservoir. Unlike another Turfer who, unwisely, took it by swimming yesterday evening, we used A's inflatable kayak. It was slightly choppy, and we were paddling into a crosswind, so it was very satisfying to get stay in the zone long enough to take it, and get back to shore.

Back home, I stripped off my sodden clothes and relaxed, before rinsing the kayak and doing some household tasks.
