Intent on feeding

JJ went off to golf and I wanted to go for a walk but had to go up to the village to pick up a prescription so decided to collect that and then head across the ridge and along the railway line.

There were quite a few dog walkers on the ridge but as I turned down to the railway line it became quieter, apart from a neighbour out running, who stopped for a chat.  Her husband is doing the London marathon with another five friends and they will all be tethered together, collecting in aid of Prostate cancer.  He has completed well over a hundred marathons and shows no sign of stopping.

Lots of skylarks, a few yellowhammers, chiffchaffs, chaffinch and I just missed photographing a beautiful male blackcap.

It's another bright and sunny day but still with that sneaky easterly wind.  The sunchairs are being given an airing.
