Homing In

Tony dropped me off in Bingley early this morning as he had an orienteering meeting in Leeds and had decided to do a park run over that way before it.  I set up our Parkrun course with Dave the Run Director and grandson Otto.  It was a chilly start and I didn't have enough layers on for marshalling when it all started.  Once again I took far too many photos!

After the run was over and equipment stowed I picked up a coffee and waited for the bus home, a croissant later and I was busy processing.

Arrangements are coming together for tomorrow and we will have a good turnout of children and grown ups.  I made a batch of raspberry buns but they will likely be purloined this evening so I'll bake again in the morning.  One of the Village Councillors is going to drop by the bug hotel fun which is good as they gave us the grant which has enabled us to buy a few necessary items.

So what to blip?  The flowering blackcurrant is abuzz with bees late afternoon so I spent some time propped up against the clothes pole trying to catch any which stopped still long enough.  Tony told me the pear blossom is out in the allotment so I took some blips of that, but the bee has won out today.  Better on black.

I don't think I will have any problems sorting a blip tomorrow!
