I knew if I'd just gone for the paper, thinking that I'd go to the garden centre later, I'd just not bother later so after picking up the news I kept going the other few miles, loaded three bags of compost onto the bike and toddled home. Of course, I didn't actually do anything with the compost but at least it's here. I'll do something with it tomorrow.

Since I'd been to Lupe Pintos last week, I made some pork guisado - a nice spicy stew but in this case with a pile of beans added. It's been in the oven for about 7 hours. 

Other than that it was gardening and a little bit of soldering.
