Quite a night

To Dundee to repair the leaky pipe in the kitchen, which would have been easy if the tap for turning off the water had actually turned off the water rather than leave a modest trickle through the pipe. That would have been manageable if Ewan hadn't had the foresight to turn on the hot water so I could confirm that this was, indeed, the hot water pipe. So the trickle was boiling hot, which made cutting it fine and then suddenly painful. 

Fortunately, we accidentally found the tap for dumping the contents of the hot water outside and stopping the trickle. Pipe cut, other end cut and new section installed. Job done. 

This guy was lying under a tree down the road from Ewan's place.
