Not my journal which marks 13 years today, but the name of the racehorse that won the 29th edition of the Dubai World Cup less than an hour ago! A Qatari owner has won a cool twelve million dollars. G's Cavalia horse wanted to watch and was glued to the TV all evening! I like his rebel hair :)))
On a more serious note, 4,745 journal entries are a big deal for me. I didn't think I could stick with it, and there have been times I have thought of stopping - mainly because I can't get to my blip-buddy's journals. Really sorry about that :(
Thank you to all of you who still visit and leave comments, stars, and hearts. And thank you, especially to the Fab 4, who keep everything going.
The day began early here with the new cleaner coming because he was sick on Thursday. He is settling in well. The place looked great after he left. We had enough time to get ready and head to Wafi to meet with friends, Mary and Elizabeth, for lunch (my extra). We haven't seen them for years.
We came home briefly (to put the doggy bag in the fridge) and were out again, this time to Sharjah. I returned a part that wasn't required for the new radiator work and got a cash refund. Woo hoo. We came home via a Katrina store.
