TWG

Thank you so much to everyone who left comments, stars and hearts on yesterday's milestone blip.

Today started leisurely with me catching up with chores and getting ready for a new week at work. G was talking about yeast and the problems it can potentially cause. She then said she wanted to go to Dubai Mall to get Greek yoghurt and had an elaborate plan to do a walk etc. We ended up in TWG cafe, a place we have been looking at for years, as we walked past the waterfall. Today, we finally experienced this speciality tea cafe.

I always thought TWG was short for Twining, but it has nothing to do with Twining. They have over 300 teas on offer. G had the Roisbois Vanilla, and I had one that the waitress described as Tea with hints of coffee or Tea No. 12 on the menu. I should have stuck with something more traditional, like English Breakfast tea! Anyway, it was good to finally experience this, and despite the price, the cafe is well-frequented, with tables being filled as soon as they become available. The same owner has a speciality coffee shop in another part of the mall, so we will try that soon.

G got her Greek yoghurt at M&S and we came home soon after. I have to record spilling a glass of red wine in the area where I have all my gadgets. The front of my phone was covered. Fortunately, the GoPro was spared. G helped me mop it all up quickly, and I am relieved there isn't any damage to my handset. Some other things will need to be tested when they dry out. I guess it's one way of quickly tidying up your workspace! ;))
