Back to Basin bobbing

A lovely day. Started with a cycle ride with B to Hoe Mill Lock.  It was the first proper cycle of the year as it has only just warmed up enough for the longer cycles. We went past the power museum and then along the recently renovated Ulting Lane, enjoyed a chat at the Lock before heading along the tougher route of Cut-a-Thwart Lane -  see extra - B is just about visible in the distance. In the High Street for lunch at Solero where we met and chatted to E. Then home. 

Good news,  a message from MLaM suggesting a Basin bob.  My first of the season and even though the wind had picked up we ventured in for a thrilling bob. As always, I was delighted to have done it. I am thankful for MLaM for the suggestion.  I would not have ventured in without her idea. A good day with 2 firsts of the year.
