Cloned family heirlooms
The family bathroom is being replaced and the plumber started work today. He spent the day ripping out the bathroom furniture and rerouting the plumbing.
I spent most of the day spring cleaning the kitchen; cleaning out and reorganising cupboards, just the fridge and oven left.
Then time to relax in the garden. The forsythia blossom is particularly good this year, hence the blip. G's dad (now passed) gave us a cutting from his garden when we first moved in and it has continued to thrive, giving us a living link with the family. We have in turn given Cno1 a cutting from our forsythia, and after sharing photos on the family chat, Cno2 also wants a cutting. I love the continuation of our family plant from cloned cuttings. My dad similarly gave us a cutting from his June Berry, see extra, Cno1 and Cno2 also have their clone of this too.
