And that's a wrap
It took a while to decompress from performing and it was the wee small hours when I got to bed, but I slept till nearly 8.30 and didn't get up till after 9.
But I was still tired and didn't do much this morning. Made sure all my various diaries and calendars were up to date, in particular with my new theatre bookings. And I vacuumed.
Outside it was cold and cloudy but as the day progressed the sun reappeared and by mid afternoon it was blue skies and very sunny. Excellent for the solar panels. But outside it was really, really cold. A snell wind meant sitting outside wasn't going to be pleasant, so I didn't.
Instead after lunch I sorted out embroidery threads and worked out a pattern for the extension to the family sampler. I need to try and finish by July.
Then it was off to the theatre for a 5.30 call. Again there was a bit of hanging around and discussions about how nervous people were. I think there was less adrenaline tonight.
Everything seemed to go well, though the audience reacted differently to the first half. Maybe there more 'Wednesday' people in.
At the end didn't manage to see H, who'd scooted off, but spoke to M and H and then some if us why over to The Howard Bar to brave The Wild Rose interval queue.
Left M and H and walked down to the W End, buying frites on the way. Remembered in the bus that I had not taken a photo today so here is the bees on the pyracantha before the witching hour.
Now it feels like I can back to my normal life, the 3 weeks since I got home have been dominated by the 'huvtaes'.
