My topsy-turvy life

Happy Mother's Day?

Not quite how Mothers Day was supposed to pan out. It started OK with Louisa getting -fake- McDonald's breakfast in bed, although NG with presents. She then seemed to spend the whole morning baking scones and cupcakes before we went over to the farm for a Mother's Day dinner.

It was as we were finishing eating that we heard Owen crying from the other room. Trying to get his Mario hat from behind the sofa he'd fallen off the back of it onto the floor. One look at his arm told us straight away that it was broken, so it was into the car and off to Telford Hospital...again. To be fair we were triaged, through to x-ray, and then (temporarily) plastered up pretty quickly. Plan made for it to be set properly in the morning it was just waiting for a bed on the children's ward. Meanwhile I had a trip home to gather supplies, then back to wait for the ward move, then home again to try and get some sleep before back again in the morning.
