Blue and Black

Initially Big Blue had been loaned out to my sister for the weekend.

However, I received a message from her this morning revealing that there was a man down in the form of m’nephew who had the pox upon him! The van would be returned later that morning as fun and adventure had been curtailed for the day.

In between times, I was out for an early morning brew and back to receive the van and join my in-laws and niece for a pox-free walk into town on the most beautiful of days - just a shame about the chill wind. We stopped briefly so she could climb a tree, so I took the opportunity to snap this one of the beautiful magnolia tree just outside Abbott Hall.

The rest of the day was spent pottering about with a brief pitstop for tea and cake with the parents followed by additional packing and gathering of “stuff” for next week’s little break. Also got Big Blue through the car wash and he is now looking very bright and gleaming in this glorious weather.

Found some time to relax in the sunshine being held in the yarden and with strawberry daiquiri in hand, tried to learn some lines.

Also watched “Black Bag” last night, which was pretty good, but just short of being great. That being said, I think with a little adaptation it would make a fantastic stage play!
