Surfing Lessons

I drove over to Cromer this morning for a walk in the lovely sunshine, albeit in a cold wind. I got a hot drink at the Rocket House Cafe and sat out on the balcony watching the beginners having a surfing lesson, first on their board on the beach and then in the shallow edge of the sea. It must be quite a difficult skill to learn. This afternoon I sat out in the garden reading the paper and listening to my audiobook (I did have a fleece on to start with). Then as we haven't had any rain for a month, I got the hose out and watered the borders and wildflower area. I've never known it so warm, sunny and dry at this time of year. I'll do the front garden tomorrow. Thanks so much for the hearts and lovely comments for my photo of the Viking boat burning yesterday, it took me a few hours to warm up afterwards as it was such a cold wind!
