Sunday with a bit o' this & that

After waking up at 9:30ish and enjoying some gingerified porridge & frothy coffee for breakfast, I did a run to the tip & a grocery top up in Aldi before returning home to vacuum the plaster dust out of the car.

After a bite to eat it was then time to run my friends Andy & Alona to hospital (extra) After a long wait Andy is having heart surgery tomorrow. We stayed an hour or so as he got settled in, wished him well and then I dropped Alona back home. She is going to let me know how he gets on tomorrow. I reassured her he will be fine.

Back home for tea, we temporarily reinstalled the bath (I can work around it for now) and then Youngest Biker & I went for a bimble about l'Biscuite. By now the temperature had dropped to 'decidedly chilly' so we just ambled along on slower roads for a few hours, stopping atop Werneth Low on the way back to look across Manchester lit up in the near distance as Orion looked down from above.
