Swan
Another long day. Little Man had nursery and managed to get through the morning, without having to come home early. I biked through to the supermarket on the outskirts of Woerden to get a few things I wasn't able to add to the food delivery I have coming tomorrow afternoon. It was a lovely day, clear without much wind. The little wind that there was was slightly chilly. It feels like spring has come but the winter is reluctant to release her hold. There are so many signs of spring. Flowers are in bloom and there are eggs in the birds' nests. The cows and sheep have young beside them. All these things I saw as I biked past.
I collected Little Man from nursery and we walked home together, whilst Little Man enjoyed the peanut butter sandwich I'd made him. He's spent time in both the garden and the living room. He seems to be almost completely back to his normal self, in regards to the cold he's been battling over the last few days. He has been more tired and grumpy than normal. I'm still fighting a cough, which has been sapping my own energy levels. So have found it a bit challenging to deal with his tiredness.
We've had an early dinner and Little Man has had a bath. He's ready for bed and will be going to bed soon. He's laying on the sofa next to me, playing with his toys, chattering away (I can understand a lot of what he's saying) and wiggling about.
