I have been quite distracted the past week or so and it will not improve in the coming weeks. It is all my own doing...

Earlier this week we put a deposit on a 2018 caravan which we will collect just after Easter. You might know I do already own a micro caravan which is towed by Matilda. She will not be able to tow this one.

I have been preoccupied with insurance, equipment and also storage as we cannot have it at home even if there was space. Caravan storage is at a premium at the moment but I have secured a spot at a local campsite/storage/riding stables/farm.

We will pick the caravan up and spend 2 nights in it before it moves to its allotted space. We have a couple of trips already booked and we will try and squeeze in some more. 

The owner said when I take it out it's advisable to put something in its place. I thought what better than a caravan made from pallet wood. As you can see I have been busy at the Ment's Shed this morning. I will use white ranch paint for most of the body and black ranch paint for the windows and wheel. I may paint 'RESERVED' on it.
