Jazz won

Drumming this morning, followed by a sociable coffee at Unity Yard. Need to take a note pad next time to jot down some of the rhythms so I can attempt to remember them better - I've put my name down to play at some of the Samba band's gigs in June.

Soul Choir or jazz, the usual Wednesday dilemma. Jazz won hands down this week - a fortnight ago we won 'Pie and mash and a pint for two' in the raffle, and today was the last date for claiming the prize! An excellent evening of jazz, as usual. Rod Mason, on sax, was on good form.
