Orange Tip butterfly time

Finally today the wind stopped blowing! It was a really lovely day, and we did a lot of work in the garden. Between times we spotted an Orange Tip butterfly drifting around looking for a mate. I couldn’t photograph it of course but this is the Ladies Smock flower that it likes to lay eggs on, all ready for action. Also, the first swallow passed overhead so all good.
Oh, not quite, poor Bonnie has a nasty upset tummy so no food today, not a happy puppy….
