All at sea …..

A dull morning blossoms into a warm and sunny afternoon. We contemplate getting a BOLT (like Uber) up to Monte and the gardens, but it’s clearly I’m not really up to that, so it’s just a wander down to Parque de Santa Caterina.  

I spend some time photographing the bird life around the pond. I must admit to finding Muscovy ducks particularly unattractive - those warty red patches on their faces are hardly endearing - but the sunlight brings out the beautiful iridescence of their feathers. And this was going to be my blip today ……

Such is my indecision - and my lack of confidence in my photography at the moment - that when G says he doesn’t like it (it’s the duck, he says, rather than the photo) and much prefers the tiny boat in the the middle of a rippled sea, I change my mind ….
