Big sky day

It’s a brighter day today, though the aftermath of Storm Kathleen is still making herself felt. We head to West Shore, but with the tide in and my general lethargy, I’m far from being inspired. 

Eventually, we stop at the end of Marine Drive - the road that skirts the Orme - overlooking the bay towards the mountains.  It’s a  day for big skies and towering clouds, but you’d never guess from this image that as I took it I was getting drenched by a very heavy and blustery shower! Such are the vagaries of early April weather!
