Pink Camelias in a neighbourhood garden.
The Feast Day of Saint Perpetuus.
Saint Perpetuus was a true follower of Jesus Christ. He considered the poor to be his heirs.
He helped the poor, needy, beggars, sick, widows and orphans.
This Tuesday is wonderfully sunny and very warm, 14c, feels like 15c. I am so delighted.
It is lovely gardening weather.
I was happy to see some pink blossoms appearing on our Cherry tree.
I walked to Ray's, on our High Street, and bought two big flowerpots. I also bought a small diary to note progress of seeds and flowers and hopefully the fruit trees later.
Then I bought the Gardening News from Best One. Fortuitously the publication had a free packet of sunflower seeds some of which have now been planted in a small flowerpot and safely put in the greenhouse. The cornflowers, kale, poppies and chives, are now sown. I might try growing potatoes again in a short while. They were good last year.
Paul saw a goldfinch in the back garden. The first one since we moved here in July 2023.
I am very thankful this warm sunny weather is forecast for the week, especially as the schools are on Easter holidays.
Have a brilliant Tuesday blip friends. Thank you for visiting my site.
