The results from a short walk

Today has been difficult for a variety of not very interesting reasons, so I only got the shortest of short walks, along the beginning of the footpath to Kings Worthy.  I saw both these birds on the track, near to where the firecrests have been; Mrs Chaffinch clearly still nest-building and Mr Blackbird looking very beady eyed.

The rest of the day has had the consistency of sticky treacle pudding, though much of the sweetness was missing.  However, we shall get through it.  And goodness, I have cleaned the kitchen!
