PY was also feeling groggy, so we decided it would be best to cancel J&P, who were scheduled to visit to help jet-wash the patio. I think giving ourselves a break was the best thing to do. In the mid-afternoon, we felt that the weather was nice and that it might be good to get some fresh air. We walked up to Cannon Hill Common and, partway around, found a bench where we sat watching the wildlife. On the path behind us, somebody had chalked a hopscotch area. We didn’t have the energy to play along.

In the evening, we ate a couple of the burgers planned for a barbecue if our visitors had come, and then we watched a couple of episodes of The Residence, which continues to be really good. And then to an early night.
