Lucky laurel

I don’t really like laurel, and spend much of my time chopping it down, but today I was glad to be so familiar with it.
I had a job interview which included a technical test on plants. The first question was to identify the plant in a photo very similar to this, so I was off to a good start.
Unfortunately I had a complete brain fart on one of the other questions but hopefully that was an outlier and I think I did ok overall. Keeping my fingers crossed.
