Roofs
Penzance to Oxford via Reading is over five hours - an awful lot of sitting in a train even if you can get up to take pictures of Plymouth roofs (blurred from a moving train) after a couple of hours. Then the Dawlish coast a bit later.
The first thing I did when I got home was to go and say hello to my apple tree. My neighbours, who have very kindly kept an eye on it and watered it, had assured me it was fine. Even so, I was relieved and delighted to find how different it looks now (extra) from two weeks ago.
