It’s only a tulip
A day off from the hurly burly of the last few days. A mist enjoyable morning jammin’ with our ukulele friends for a couple of hours or so. Just old favourites, no pressure. Susan joined in with her guitar.
A different afternoon where we attended the funeral of the sister of Doreen’s next door neighbour. An elderly spinster who had been ill for a very long time but someone that Susan had known for 40 years.
As is often the case we learned something about the person that surprised us and we didn’t know. And we chatted to people who had just been names we knew. Takes a funeral to bring people together.
Not much opportunity for blips. This was a quick snap in the back garden. Even less opportunity to visit your journals.
