Enjoying the sun in Mote Park

Easter Holidays have started. Sun is shining and Mote Park is busy with families enjoying the first day of their break. We were busy too with lots to do in town this morning and probably more in the afternoon as two contractors came to view Doreen’s garden and provide a quote for its makeover.

We’ve made appointments for estate agents to come and value both houses next week. Barbara and David will be down from Edinburgh next week until the end of the month to take up some of the jobs and to be present for the viewing. Them being here will give us some time to spin the plate that’s labelled “move to Cumbria on 5th May”

We were going to listen to the candidates for our ward of the County Council. In the end we decided to enjoy a more relaxed evening in.
