Tulip

Although I am now technically on holiday, I had to finish something off for work. I would have done it last night, but I was out, and was home too late to be thinking of getting my laptop out. I logged on early, did what I needed to do, then logged off again, before anyone noticed I was online. I’ve still got one more thing to do, but I need to give it some thought.

A run was not an option this morning as I am still getting overly lurgy. Instead I got stuck into some chores, as I have definitely been a bit lax recently! BB didn’t appear until after noon, so I had peace to get on with things.

By mid afternoon I needed a break, so persuaded BB to come out with me for a walk, ending at the supermarket, as I needed a few things for tea. He was quite happy to come out for some fresh air, even happier that he bumped into three pals in the supermarket!

I resumed my chores when I got home, but had lost motivation! I started to think about tea instead. I made a roasted salmon dish, and everyone enjoyed it. BB commented that he hadn’t had fish for a very long time!

Later I went out to add to my step count, as the boys were watching TV. I’ve still got that piece of work hanging over me.

When we came back from London on Monday evening, there was a bunch of lovely tulips, chocolates and a card on the kitchen table for me. Thank you to BB! This is one of the tulips. The sun was shining on them this evening.
