Pretty Flowers

I found these rather nice little flowers along the edge of a field on my walk this morning…they caught the early morning sunlight nicely.

I like the lovely veined petals.

I believe that this is ‘Lady’s Smock’ or ‘Cuckoo Flower’.. so called as they appear at around the same time as the first cuckoo is heard.
