Thoughtfulness ...
The day didn’t start too well. I overdid it by climbing up the steep loft stairs a few times after breakfast to put away some heavy bed linen, and was so tired afterwards that I had to slide back into bed. After half an hour’s rest I was able to get up and shower, but felt disappointed that my energy levels are still bumping along on almost empty.
The day got a lot better by late afternoon, though, when I opened the front door to receive a parcel I’d ordered. But imagine my surprise when the postman handed me not one, but three parcels! The other two were totally unexpected, but the handwriting was very familiar. I smiled and smiled just at the sight of them, but then smiled fit to bust when I saw what was inside. A couple of early Easter presents from a dear fellow blipper who knows me very well …
The wren-topped pewter spoon is just fabulous and will have pride of place on my dresser, along with a few other wren-related items. I couldn’t possibly use it as a spoon, I just want to enjoy looking at it every day. But I will definitely enjoy using my personalised wren stickers!
In extras is a photo of the beautiful way the spoon was wrapped. I feel so very blessed, and loved.
