Magnolia stellata

As I am not allowed to drive for three weeks Clickychick was driving so we chose a local venue for our coffee and cake visit.  The obvious target was "Melki" (Larch Cottage Nurseries in Melkinthorpe.)

After coffee and cake we wandered the gardens blipping.  Now I have got rid of the bulky pressure bandage and am exercising my fingers using the camera is basically back to normal.

The shot is of a M stellata just outside the cafe, one of the first things I took.  All their magnolias wer in full flower both stellata and soulangiana.  I doubt they are forced as most plants they grow themselves, so ours must be slow because it is on the north side of the house.
