A growing girl

Wednesday today and so I was in church this morning. I smoothed the ground with the person I'd upset the other day which was worth doing. I had a few moments panic when our curate texted to say he wasn't well and thought he might have caught a bug off his son - so would I be take the service if need be! Of course I said yes, but fortunately he seemed no worse for wear so came in the end and I was off the hook. I prefer more than 30 minutes preparation time, lol. I am taking the service next week so I'll need to get organised.
After church I took communion to one of my ladies. We had a lovely chat afterwards which was a real hoot. She remembers me as a child of about 8 or 9.
This afternoon Ali and the girls came over. Bonnie is a bit under the weather so rather than go back by bus I took them in the car. My blip is of her playing in her living room. She stood for about half an hour playing with a tea set and that dolls house. She plays independently very well, fortunately Josie doesn't mind sharing her toys(most of the time) She's walking well now, right down the hall and back again without stopping. She's growing up so quickly.
I'm off to visit the rectory tomorrow to see how that's all going. I'm sure I'd have heard if there had been much wrong . If only they could find the stop cock!
