Sally Mair - Loving life

Little Lamb who made thee?

A busy morning, Cleo is off to kennels for a few days while the children are here, she really doesn't do well with them so is better away. She's definitely not speaking to me now though, into her carry box twice in one week! I managed to catch her before she went high up today though.
On the way I spotted these lambs at Craigie, so stopped for a picture on the way back,I can never resist watching lambs.
Next stop was a visit to the rectory, about half of the units in the kitchen are in place. Sink and appliances next. The windows and new outer door are also in.
When I got home I had a call from the charity shop to say some DVDs I'd asked them to look out for, were in, The Hazelh's are very pleased. I made some oatcakes for Colin to take away with him, I was very pleased with this batch so they are well packaged in a box and hopefully will survive the journey next week.
Next stop was to have my nails done as we will be at a wedding on Saturday, they are looking good. The visit was a Mother's Day treat voucher and came with a free glass of Prosecco, very nice. I'm not used to afternoon drinking, I got a lift there and back lol!
When I got home I prepared some mince to go in the freezer to have when the girls are here. Quick and easy and they all like it.
We had cauliflower cheese as part of dinner tonight. Always one of my favourites, sally my fingers are now supporting an elastoplast as I sliced one of them on the blade off the cheese grater. Doesn't set off my new nail varnish very well. Hopefully it will have healed enough for me to take off the plaster for the wedding.
We settled down this evening to watch the second half of Grace... And that was Thursday.
It's been a lovely warm day the thermometer was up over 20 and we've finally lost that snell east wind! Sadly it's going to be a different story soon.
