On the Wey Navigation
The chap steering this narrow boat couldn't believe he was just a stone's throw from some of the busiest roads in the country. Behind the tow path of the Wey Navigation where I took this picture is Sutton Place, a 16th century mansion owned by Alisher Usmanov, Britain's richest man and, according to this article likely to be in the world's top 10 rich list. He lives about 10 minutes away from me and I never knew it - might ask him to tea. The house used to be owned by John Paul Getty who also had quite a lot of money. Had a nice damselfly too and this tree, oh and an insect I hadn't seen before called a scorpion fly.
