Allium

A seed head from one of my big alliums. Spent the whole day in the garden working on a bed we'd cleared yesterday when we removed a Weigela and two climbing roses that had come to dominate everything. I haven't bought anything for the bed yet, just shifted a few things around. I need to start on the pond too but can't face that yet. The coming fishing trip is dominating my thinking but I have to write a feature on work and something on tenders and power boats first and, hopefully, fit in a trip to Amsterdam before the end of the week. I won't come clear now until mid-September. The seed head is lit be a couple of soft boxes. This is the same one, only against the light
