Tulip

We had a good showing of daffodils in the lasagne pots this year, sadly very few of the tulips are showing through.  But those that are are very pretty.

I spent time in the morning weeding down alongside the roadside ditch - found evening primrose plants looking as it they will flower this year, especially now they're no longer choked out by sticky grass, dandelions and creeping buttercups.

Then in the afternoon I made 31 squares of paper to scale for my patchwork squares (1cm to 2 inches) and played around with working out how to fit them together (see extra).
