Feathery Gymnast

I spent most of the day "fiddling" in the garden., occasionally picking up the camera for a shot in the sunshine.

At one point this woodpigeon came down to the bird feeders. I don't really encourage them as they are greedy and messy creatures, so the seed feeder is supposedly hung with no nearby support for larger birds. However this one proved me wrong.  One has to admire his persistence and agility!
