Day 84. Cairngorm Osprey.

Day 84 of my Gratitude/Walk/Photo Challenge.

Much to be grateful for today (yesterday really - writing this after the event); glorious weather, beautiful scenery, a chance for a gentle walk and paddle, a lovely evening full of laughter, memories, vet chat, friendship...and wine.
Hard to choose one but I'll go for the privilege of seeing Ospreys on the nest for the first time this year. Here's to seeing many more of these amazing birds.

A gentle 4 mile walk around Carrbridge in the morning loosened the creaky bones and got the blood pumping a bit - a good warm up for a slow-paced paddle on flat calm waters on Loch Insh; hubby and his dodgy back coped well!
All the healthy stuff was obliterated by an evening of good food, chat, and wine (don't talk about the wine!!) with friends  thank you so much guys. I really do think the "Ab Fab Pissed Auld Vet Helpline" is a great business idea!!
