But, then again . . . . .

Tomorrow, We Die.

Sis arrived this morning to help me with my jumping through legal hoops. We'll try and get things sorted out over the week-end and documents posted on Monday.

We started with the important business of lunch at a local brasserie, and a very nice lunch it was too. They are one of the few cafes which understand that a latte does not have to be insipid and weak; that the amount of coffee used to make a cup is not dependant on the quantity of water used but on the total amount of liquid (including the milk).

A few years ago they purchased the next door gift shop and knocked a doorway between the two; everyone thought they were enlarging the cafe but, in reality, they were diversifying. The only practical change was that you could now move from the exhausting process of buying gifts to the relaxing one of partaking of refreshment without going outside into the rain. This sign over the adjoining doorway caught my attention, their coffee is good but, I wouldn't say it was to die for.
It is an interesting thought that when tomorrow comes depends upon which clock you are watching.

Today’s back blip is “From the Border Crossing” from the 19th of July.
