Eight

The second book of the holidays completed this afternoon. It is the tenth and final book of a crime series that I have really enjoyed,
often being published in time for an Easter holiday read. This one is no exception and I’ll be sad not to have another one next Easter but the author has tied the ends off quite satisfactorily.

Bailey and I had a very restless night and it took me a while to realise that the reason was that I had forgotten to give him his insulin last night. I have only ever done it once before and have no idea why I missed it last night. I’ll put it down to the change in routines. He was left to his own devices this afternoon whilst we went and did our training with the OT on the equipment which will help Mum to get home. We managed and her discharge is another step closer.
