National Pet Day today so Bailey bedecked by my sock up in the top garden is my blip. I also read today that Hawaiians’ don’t use the word ‘owner’ for pets. Their word - kahu - means guardian, protector, steward, attendant. That last one definitely fits me and Bailey! We both slept well last night having stuck to his regime. I left him with Dad whilst I went into Lancaster to renew our weekly parking ticket for the hospital. Then a browse in a favourite shop and a trip to Marks. Mum’s equipment was delivered whilst I was out. Back for lunch and a sit in the garden to make the most of the weather. And the news that Mum will be discharged on Tuesday.
